The Current Hair Hype Keratin Treatments

Okay so if you have hard Keratin Hair Treatments have been a craze. They are typically around 150 for the service in the salons. This is a heated treatment that they put on your hair and it is locked in to your hair through the heat. It tend to stay for a month or so and makes your hair super soft , shiny, and it straightens your hair. Nice huh and all with out harsh chemicals! Well my mother got this treatment done for free after the salon kept getting her fabulous hair color wrong. Now my mother is young but has years of hair care issues to back her up and she says that this treatment has made her hair feel so soft and and healthy that it trumps all other beauty products she has used before. Now I'm thinking this must be a Must! Now the only thing next is how I can figure out to get this done cheaper!

ApHOgee Gloss Hair Polish

I tried a new product that has come out since all of the Keratin craze called Aphogee Products. Sally's had a sale so I of course usually try out the sample packets first before dedicating myself to a full bottle. The gloss if for frizzy out of control hair, hello me! You can use the gloss on your hair when it's damp or dry. I applied the gloss to my hair when it was dry. I dappled a dime size amount on my fingertips and ran it through my hair. It came our very nice. My hair did not feel too oily or greasy or go flat throughout the day. I was pretty impressed. Most de-frizzeing glosses and gel cause my hair to become to oily and they tend to weigh down my hair making it flat. But Aphogee is fairly priced, I would recommend this to my frizzy friends! Enjoy!

Brighten your Nail Color

Okay so it's been a while since I've had to do my own nails and with all these new bright colors being in style I didn't know how to make the most of them. I purchased a bright yellow fast painting nail polish from Sally's Beauty Salon and once I applied 5 coats it still didn't look right. I got the tip from my sister to try putting on a white coat first then apply the color. Wow why didn't I think of that! So with all these new hip 80's colors coming back don't forget to paint a base coat like white to help those colors come out! Enjoy!

Hair care for Swimmers

My mother lives in the Caymans and battles frizz and ocean water damaging her gorgeous hair. A great tip from the locals is prior to going in the ocean for for a swim put conditioner in you hair. Then after you get done swimming rinse it out. This will help protect your hair from sea salt and chemicals. Enjoy swimmers!

Relaxing Hair Treatment Lamaur-Bone Marrow

My mother has suggested this product. It has been out for about 25 years! You can find it at Sally's. This is a deep penetrating treatment for frizzy out of control hair. This is something you got to know if it's been around forever it must work! She said this is a definite must!

For an Extra Eye Curl

I got this tip out of the book," Plastic Surgery without the surgery, the miracle of makeup techniques." To add an extra oomph to those lashes, heat up with a blow dryer your metal curler for about 15 seconds. You don't want it too hot where you will get burned. Then use the curler on your lashes as usual. This will let the curl stay longer and better! Love it!

Lip Tip

We damaged our lips by applying crazy plumper's and lipstick through out the day. So just like our skin we need to moisten our lips. So for smooth kissable lips apply a creamy smooth lip balm before bed every night. You will wake up with soft smooth lips!

L'oreal Paris Telescopic Explosion Mascara

This is a Bust! It's great to get those little tiny lashes but it is way too difficult to use. It's also pretty pr icy for an over the counter mascara! It also makes you lashed clump since it's difficult to use. Yes the idea was inventive and you can reach small lashes but only with difficulty and sacrificing the rest of your lashes to look horribly clumpy. Don't waste you moo la!

Clearasil Face Cleanser

Okay so after my downfall with the Big label Acne products I have decided to try some simple over the counter products. For my nightly routine I use Clearasil Face Cleanser all over my face gently rubbing it in and rinsed with cool water. I have heard if you have sensitive skin always rinse with cool water. I really like cleanser because unlike acne scrubs they don't leave your skin dry. This morning my face felt fresh and clean. This product is very inexpensive and can be found at all drugstores.
